Terms of Service
1. About this agreement
FlyingLap Garage (“the Service”) is a web app for tracking project-car builds, parts, maintenance and budgets. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2. Your account
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into a contract where you live.
3. Your data
You own everything you enter — vehicles, parts, maintenance records, tasks, photos and notes. We store it only to provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Free and Pro plans
- Free: 1 project · up to 3 parts & mods · up to 3 maintenance items · full service log · maintenance schedule · milestones · budget & analytics.
- Pro: unlimited projects, parts and maintenance, build-history export (PDF/CSV), receipt storage and planning tools.
- Price: Pro is $4.99 USD per month or $50.00 USD per year, charged in advance to the payment method you provide.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage billing. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the period you already paid for, after which your account returns to the Free plan. See Refunds & Cancellation.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Service, access other users’ data, resell it, or use it for anything unlawful.
7. Estimates, not professional advice
Figures the Service shows — maintenance intervals, due dates, costs or values — are estimates for planning only. They are not professional automotive advice. Always confirm with a qualified mechanic and your vehicle’s own documentation.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service running, but it is provided “as is” without warranties and we may change or discontinue features.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a securely hashed password (your password is never stored in plain text).
- Your build data: the vehicles, parts, maintenance items, service records, tasks, budgets, notes and photos you enter.
- Billing: your plan and subscription status.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data and we don’t run advertising or third-party tracking.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers; Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to that processing.
We send transactional emails only — such as account confirmation and password resets — through our email provider. We don’t send marketing email.
Where your data lives
Account and build data are stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) and encrypted in transit. Your browser also keeps a local copy in localStorage so the app works offline, and syncs it back to your account when you’re online.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. You can remove individual items, wipe all build data, or delete your account entirely — see below.
Your controls
- Export: Settings → Download backup (JSON of all your builds).
- Delete build data: Settings → Delete all build data.
- Delete account: Settings → Delete account — removes your account and all associated data.
Cookies and local storage
We use localStorage to keep you signed in and cache your data. No advertising cookies.
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13.

Refunds & Cancellation
Cancelling
Cancel any time from Settings → Manage billing (or the Plans page). Cancelling stops future charges. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Refunds
Monthly subscriptions are not refunded for partial periods once a period has started. If you were charged by mistake, or you’re unhappy with the Service, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects consumer rights you have under the law of your country.
